Pia Stampe, PT, DPT is the owner of PPTS. Pia has her degree in Physical Therapy
from University of Copenhagen, Denmark, as well as a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree
from AT Still University. She has worked with children in a variety of settings
for over 25 years.
Pia founded Pediatric Physical Therapy Services, PLLC in 1998 and currently employs
18 pediatric physical therapists. Her special interests include Cerebral Palsy, Brachial
Plexus Injuries and Infant Motor Development. Pia is NDT trained and has extensive
continuing education in pediatrics including: sensory integration, craniosacral therapy,
seating and positioning, management of Brachial Plexus Injuries, Myofascial Release,
Threshold Electrical Stimulation (TES), NMES, EMG Biofeedback and EMG-Triggered Electrical
Stimulation. Pia teaches throughout the United States and Canada about treatment
for Brachial Plexus Injuries, and she specializes in the use of technology in treatment
of children, paticularly EMG-triggerd muscle stimulation.
Janet Rosenberg, PT joined PPTS in 1998 and is the Physical Therapy Supervisor. She
has many years of pediatric experience, as well as experience with adult neurological
rehabilitation. A graduate of Russell Sage College, Janet is DIR trained and has
participated in extensive continuing education within pediatrics.
Danielle Hyde, PT has a degree in physical therapy from Russell Sage College. She
has a diverse background in pediatrics, including experience in different types of
practice settings. Danielle’s special interests include neurological function and
rehabilitation, positioning and adaptive equipment, and the functional use of orthoses.
Danielle has been with PPTS since 2002.
